The Citizen Collective “Albert.e” Installs Its First Residential Solar Roof

Monday, 24 June 2024

The citizen collective “Albert.e” (Amicale Loire-Beauce for Renewable Energies and Ecological Transition) aims to support and advise individuals in the PETR Pays Loire Beauce area on installing solar panels for electricity production, offering neutral and unbiased guidance.

A second goal is to launch a photovoltaic project on a private or public building using citizen funding.

The collective has just successfully completed the installation of its first residential solar roof. This achievement follows two public meetings on solar energy and the collective’s guidance. Four more roofs are set to be equipped this summer, and the initiative will soon expand to Beaugency, Cercottes, and Beauce-la-Romaine.
