Report on the Information Days on Energy Transition in the Six New Territories
Each partner territory of the project benefits from an information day on energy transition for its elected officials and staff. This is the first action implemented in each territory by the project leaders. It provides an opportunity for the team to present the project and, more importantly, to discuss energy, energy transition, and the connection to the fight against climate change. The core of the day also involves providing everyone with action strategies to pursue on their territory to further involve citizens in energy transition, whether through involvement in sobriety projects or renewable energy production projects.
These days took place during the months of March and April 2023 in the following six territories:
- La Communauté de communes Ecueillé-Valençay (36),
- La Communauté de communes Champagne-Boischauts (36),
- La Communauté d’Agglomération de Châteauroux Métropole (36),
- La Communauté de communes Touraine-Est Vallées (37),
- Le Pays Vendômois (41).
- Le PETR Beauce Gâtinais en Pithiverais (45),
This year, these days brought together a total of 201 people across our six partner territories, and the content met their expectations at 86%. We enhance the content and facilitation of these days based on the feedback received during these events and always aim to prioritize moments of interaction and sharing among participants.
The objective was to offer elected officials, staff, and associations in the territories a better understanding of issues related to energy transition. To learn more about these days: https://www.life-letsgo4climate.eu/les-journees-dinformation-soutiller-pour-agir-face-aux-defis-energetiques/
