Second call for expressions of interest for the LIFE_LETsGO4Climate project
Would you like to help bring about a more widely shared energy transition in your region?
Strengthen your role in the energy transition in the Centre-Val de Loire region by taking part in the LIFE_LETsGO4Climate project!
The LIFE_LETsGO4Climate project, winner of the European LIFE call for projects, aims to accelerate the production of renewable energy and reduce collective and individual energy consumption, by encouraging the emergence of collective and citizen action to produce renewable energy or to reduce energy consumption.
The result of a trial in 2019, it is based on a process of citizen appropriation of the energy transition in 18 territories. The first 6 partner regions are currently at the heart of the process, with the organisation of 4 citizen workshops. In January 2023, 6 new regions will be added to the scheme, based on feedback from 2022.
Today, we are announcing the launch of the Call for Expressions of Interest with the aim of recruiting the last six territories in the LIFE_LETsGO4Climate project, for the year 2024.
Join the collective adventure!

LIFE_LETsGO4Climate: an incubator for your local energy transition initiative
This project will be based on a strong partnership, including the key players who will be supporting the creation and accompaniment of the emerging collective actions : Region, ADEME, Energie Partagée, ENEDIS and GRDF. You will be helped to organise training courses, working groups and workshops to raise awareness of the energy transition.
These events will enrich your regions, facilitate collective and individual commitment and help to increase the skills of the various players involved in the LIFE_LETsGO4Climate project: elected representatives, local authority staff, citizens, economic players and associations, etc.
Would you like to join a group of local authorities committed to developing community-based initiatives to promote the energy transition? Respond to this call for proposals before 28 April 2023 (extended until 16 June 2023).
